VIA is now accepting applications for our Pakistan Innovation Challenge
The purpose of this challenge is to find local businesses and entrepreneurs who can create and test different business models for the sale and support of VIA products.
The success of VIA products comes from the combination of simple equipment with learning material that helps farmers to rethink irrigation strategies for their individual situation.
Previous work has demonstrated that these monitoring tools are beneficial to and well accepted by farmers in Pakistan. This Challenge aims to build on that by finding long term, sustainable methods of supply and support to these farmers that are revenue generating and for the benefit of both farmers and suppliers. Applicants that can incorporate both products and ongoing farmer support into their business model will be considered favourably.
At the completion of the Challenge, select participants will have the chance to enter into an ongoing supplier agreement with VIA.
